Within our Process Solutions Business Unit, we are looking for a:

Business Analyst (M/F)
VIE contract (18 months) - Based in Shanghai


You will help implement a new Territory & Incentives Management tool:
  • Initiate the roll-out of a harmonized sales territory and incentives process for the Asia region.
  • Support sales performance analysis and standard reporting (collect performance data, analyze target vs. actual performance).
  • Support accrual calculations and quarterly closing processes (distribute calculations to finance, payroll departments).
  • Train and proliferate the use of the new tool and process to key stakeholders and regional decision makers.

You will provide development, support and training for Sales Effectiveness :
  • CRM (Customer Relationship Management) Knowledge: act as go-to person for internal customers. Perform first-level CRM administration functions including but not limited to new user account set up, daily user questions and issue resolution, report requests and data cleansing efforts to ensure data integrity.
  • CRM Training: participate in the preparation of training content and materials, deliver targeted and general training to users via Webex and/or in person training.
  • Business Reports: contribute to the creation and maintenance of KPI as requested by the Business Field
  • Process & Tools Improvement: contribute to improve/simplify processes and systems. Work with business users to identify opportunities to drive efficiency, document requirements for any system changes and work with other sales effectiveness team members to implement. Understand and recommend process improvements with the goal of driving consistency across geographies when possible.


Experience and key competencies:
  • University degree or Bioengineering school
  • Professional background/experience in sales processes, territory management, sales tools, process optimization, sales training, project management (or any subset of these)
  • Understanding of the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical Business Environment
  • Previous work experience as an analyst within a multi-national, multi-cultural environment
  • Excellent computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Lotus Notes. Experience with is an asset.
  • Complete fluency in English - French, German and/or Chinese would be a plus.
