Originally I took the position at AKKA because it offered me an opportunity to work for a well-known client, that I hoped would help me advance in my career. But soon after I started working there, the project I was hired for got cancelled - and I promptly got a dismissal letter, since I was still on trial period. The same week, and while still being dismissed, AKKA offered me another project that I took, since I didn't really have any other options lined up. Considering I've quit my previous job just to join that particular project - the entire experience was quite unpleasant.
From then on, I've done a couple of missions with different clients. Other than the shenanigans at the start of me working there - AKKA had been all right. Compensation is on the higher end, compared to other contracting agencies. And the missions themselves were all right.
Nice salary, possibility of having more say in choosing your mission after some time working there
Got fired 6 weeks in, un-fired the week after that. They don't care so much about their workers.
