There are good and bad things about Fedex Ground. The Pros: -Health benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance ect..) for employees that start full time. I believe that part time employees have to work a certain amount of hours before receiving benefits. -College Tuition Assistance Program (Be aware this program is very particular on what it will cover course wise) ($1500 Package Handlers / $2500-5000 depending on the management job position per calendar year) -Paid Time Off (I believe that full time employees get 2 weeks available to them when they start) -Pay (It is reasonable, I started at $13.75 for Operations Admin 1)
The Cons: -Management (They only care about themselves, and are very stressful to work with) -Understaffed (At least in the QA/Operations Admin position) there is too much work to be done and not enough people. -Family/Outside of work life suffers due to the amount of work/time you have to work.
Overall I would not recommend working at Fedex Ground. The work/environment will wear you down fast. If you are looking for good benefits then work here however, be aware of the negatives associated with this company.
Management was stressful to work with. They only really care about themselves.
