MSF is medically and logistically impressive. However, financially and their overall operations suffers from an almost complete absence of qualified managers and abondance of egos. As a finance professional and ex-accountant who has worked in the private sector for years, I was shocked at the level of waste. Basically, they have a huge budget with no strings attached unlike other NGOs and just spend the money without ever having a clear end goal to the projects. I saw this happen in 2 difference countries with MSF with 2 complete difference sets of management. Honestly, I asked my family and friends to stop donating money to them because of it.
