Great CEO, but middle-managers riddled in politics
If you want to find a company that provides incredible opportunities, this would be a great place to look into. The exposure is often incredibly diverse because the company is actively growing across multiple market sectors, so you have the chance to become more than a mere cog as per most other major Silicon Valley companies.
The bigger problem, however, comes in the fact that because you have so much growth potential, junior employees are often given little to no career guidance. The prevalent company culture is "this isn't my problem", which means every employees love the company - just not each other in many cases. If you outgrow your manager for some reason, expect to be "reviewed" and forced to quit pretty soon.
Great company recognition, work exposure, mission.
Political company culture in middle management, long hours, subpar pay.
